Voice Technique Workshop with Jane Sullivan

Jane Sullivan

Jane Sullivan holds a Masters of Music degree in Vocal Performance and Vocal Pedagogy from Roosevelt University. She has 13 years of teaching experience and has been a member of the voice faculty at Sherwood Conservatory of Music for the last 10 years. She is currently a member of the supplementary chorus for the Lyric Opera of Chicago and will be singing in the chorus for their upcoming productions of Carmen and A Midsummer’s Marriage. Jane has also sung as a soloist in a number of Bach and Beyond Concerts and spent time touring Wisconsin and Northern Illinois with Opera for the Young.

In addition to classical music, Jane also likes to sing and perform more popular music and musical theater. She recently gave her debut Cabaret performance at Davenports in Wicker Park, singing the songs of Stephen Sondheim. She hopes to perform again there in the near future. Jane cantors regularly at a number of churches and has done cantor training as well as some choir conducting. She is passionate about singing and believes strongly that everyone can sing and has a unique voice.

Join us for a fun and informative evening.
No previous singing experience is necessary and everyone is welcome!
